Education

I have an engineering degree from Bolivia which is my native country. I earned a masters degree in sizemology from Japan on scholarship. I also earned a masters degree in geophysics on a scholarship and was then invited to stay and earn a PhD in Geophysics with a minor in Mathematics from St. Louis University. I owned my own Geophysics company for many years.

Experience

I grew up in Bolivia and Spanish is my native language. I was the class president in my high school as well as a student teacher. While working on my engineering degree, I continued to work as a student teacher. I am a retired professor from the University of Kentucky. I worked with both undergraduate and graduate students. I taught earth science classes to teachers in Kentucky. I was a student advisor. I taught middle and high school students in Bolivia.

I am a Christian and I love teaching. I think I have a God given talent and passion for teaching. I love most sports. I played soccer while in school in Bolivia starting in grade school through college. I coached soccer in Kentucky. I follow most of UK sports teams when I can. I enjoy volunteering at soup kitchens and offering help to those in need. I enjoy a good movie or good book.
